Hello comedy friends and fans. This weekend is going to be a busy hilarious one. The Comedy Cartel will be performing on March 18th at Capone’s in A-Venue at 7pm in a fundraiser show for a very good cause. What cause? Don’t ask me because I have a bad memory at the moment. Then on the same night, some of us will do another show in Guilly’s A-Venue. That’s 2 shows in the same mall.
Then on Saturday, March 19th, we will be returning to the best comedy venue, at least in my book, 19 East! So for the people in the South, this is your chance to watch the only international group of Pinoy stand-up comedians in the country.
My good friend and fellow comedian from Hong Kong, Gary Jackson will be joining us in these shows. His poster is also displayed below. You have to watch this guy. He’s hilarious, especially if you give him a sock and internet access. You’ll understand what I mean when you see him live.

Hi Jeff. That’s great. Are you in the Metro Manila area? If you are, we have 2 open mics this week, where you can try your material or just watch if you like. The first one is on Tuesday at a place in Quezon City and the second is on Wednesday in Greenbelt, Makati. If you’re on Facebook, add the Comedy Cartel and you will see the details. I have never performed a stand-up act before but I am no stranger to the stage since I perform with a blues band but this is like starting all over for me and I hope you guys can give me pointers on how I can put my act together. Hey Jeff. I’m sorry about that. I also went to Greenbelt only to find out that Merk’s already moved to Pasay. Then I tried to look for it along Pasay but couldn’t see it. Oh well. So I just went home. I’ll be there tomorrow though. Looking forward to meeting you.
